Eating the Scraps from the Table

 10.13.1950

As Snoopy looks on this little boys dinner longingly, the boy decides to hide under the table to eat, and Snoopy gets nothing, rather sadly for him. I mean, what is the boy's problem. However, what in the world is Snoopy even doing on the table and how did he get up there? That's my question. There is no apparent chair on Snoopy's side which means that he must have jumped. Normally pets are not allowed on the table, and this goes contrary to any reaction that kids have around pets when they are eating that I know. Normally the pet is under the table, and the kids, and even the adults are giving the dogs scraps. So I believe this comic is a bit misleading into how things normally are. However, if Snoopy did jump on the table, then I would be concerned about my food, too.

However, today Sarah made the most amazing broccoli and beef and glass noodle dish to share with us. We don't have any pets, so we couldn't share it with them, nor would we have wanted to share our food with the pets because it was the most amazing and satisfying dish around. I'm grateful for my wife who loves cooking and is really good at it.

Dear Sir, dear Life,

I am happy that my wife shared the dinner with me. I contributed a bit by helping her chop up the onions, some broccoli and garlic. We work together really well to make life just a little bit more satisfying.

A satisfied belly,
The Marcie in Me

Do you have animals that eat the scraps from the table? What is your funniest story of a pet eating something that it wasn't supposed to?

Stay tuned...

A killer dog anyone? Or is he a sleepy dog, you tell me?
